About your midwives Kia ora, we're Amanda & Lisa. Two experienced Lead Maternity Carers, sharing continuity of care for whānau across Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
Why midwifery A calling to walk beside whānau. We became midwives because we believe birth is one of life's most profound moments, and that every family deserves to feel safe, heard, and held.
Between us we have spent years supporting Auckland whānau through pregnancy, birth, and the tender early weeks at home.As a shared practice, one of us is always on call, so you have true continuity of care and a familiar face the whole way through.
How we practise Evidence-based, woman-centred care.
Our care is grounded in informed choice and respect. We take the time to talk through your options at every stage, so the decisions are always yours.We attend births at Auckland City Hospital and coordinate closely with the obstetric team whenever specialist input would help.
